Good love

Life is good when you are in love,
Life is cruel when you are in lust,
Some say love is stupid,
They claim fights but am not quite the cupid,
But here I stand and say I love you,
I hope we last and always stand true,
We laugh,we play and have some fun,
Clearly without you is like bread without ham,
I hate the fact that you hide our love,
But there is no way you can deny you are in love,
I don't know if you like poems,for me I do,
But one day in person I can sing for you,
What's a heart without a soulmate?
Indeed it's like no "mate" in "checkmate",
You are mine and I am yours,
I don't know if you get it am lawfully yours,
Your voice easens me through thick and thin,
As toxic and addictive it is like gas propene,
Ice my cake with the sweet of my peck.
